Boonie Pepper Chicken


If you don’t like heat, this dish isn’t for you! I have a good friend from Guam who inspired my love of super hot peppers and his wife makes this for him. Filling meal with lots of heat!

Ingredients

  • 3 Boneless Chicken Breasts

  • 1 onion

  • 1⁄2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 12 boonie peppers (or hot peppers of your choice)

  • 2 lemons

  • cooked white rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Dice Boneless chicken breast and saute in pan with a little olive oil until nearly done and set aside
  2. Cook onions in pan until softened and browned
  3. Add in as many diced peppers as you can stand (in Guam they can use 20-40 peppers!) and cook with onions until softened.
  4. Add chicken back in, stir up, add soy sauce, and then squeeze lemon juice over.
  5. cook together for a few more minutes, then serve over rice.
